    The farm

    We work directly with smallholder cooperatives in Aceh, Toraja, and Java — paying premiums above market for cup quality and traceable lots.

    The roastery

    Small batches, profile roasting on a vintage drum. Every roast is cupped before it leaves our table.

    The cup

    Whole bean, freshly milled, shipped within 48 hours of roast. So it tastes the way the farmer intended.

Bring Indonesian specialty coffee to the people who'll appreciate it most — and make the supply chain worth respecting.

Indonesia grows some of the most distinctive coffee in the world, yet most of it leaves the country graded down and sold in blends. Windward exists to put origin and craft back at the center.

    Every lot lists the farm, altitude, varietal, and process. No mystery beans.

    We publish what we pay farmers and refuse opaque commodity pricing.

  • Slower, on purpose

    Roasted to order in small batches. We will never have a warehouse of stale bags.
